Christine Luby - Choreographer/Dancer
Christine holds a BA in Choreography/Liberal Arts from Hampshire College (Massachusetts, USA) and a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre (London, UK) and is the artistic director of SDD. She has recently performed with Mollie McClelland at the Pompidou Centre in Paris and at the British Library Breaking The Rules Exhibition. Her performance background consists largely of site specific work with Lathos Kinisi in Athens, Greece, Corridor and Studio Wambach in London and Dianne Eno in New York and New Hampshire. She also works as a freelance Assistant Director in Film Production and designs jewellery for www.piscesflyeight.etsy.com

Mollie McClelland- Choreographer/Dancer

Mollie started dancing as a child. She studied ballet and contemporary dance leading to her graduation from Hampshire College (Massachusetts, USA). She was a company member of Xpressions Contemporary Dance Company in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania until 2006 when she moved to London. She recieved an MA from Central School of Speech and Drama in 2008 and created a performance work "Multiple" which was performed at The Place for Resolution! 2008 and at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris as part of Les Jeudis. She is also a qualified yoga teacher.
Philine Janssens - Dancer
Philine Janssens, born in 1981, Oostende (Belgium), is a contemporary dancer and choreographer. She studied at the Rosella Hightower Academy (Cannes, FR) and at the Higher Institute for Dance (Lier, BE). Loves floor and partner work, (contact-) improvisation and flow. Next to regular ballet and contemporary dance training, she likes to focus on other experiences such as bungee-assisted dance, flying trapeze, capoeira, acrobatics and drama classes. As a choreographer, Philine has been working for the Antwerp based company Studio Wambach (www.studiowambach.com) collaborating for the last 4 years with jazz musicians, filmmakers, actors, animators, singers and circus performers. She has recently completed her Master of Arts in Choreography at Middlesex University (London) and her latest work, Nausea, has been performed at the Resolution! Festival 2006.
Minori Nagai - Dancer
Minori studied ballet in Japan when she was young, before moving to the UK, looking for something new. Now a recipient of a BA from Middlesex University where she studied contemporary dance, she has been continuously performing, choreographing and taking part in film projects since 2003. She loves working with different people, different dance styles and travelling
to
different
places.
Laura Karlin- Dancer
Laura Karlin was thrown out of ballet class at the age of 5 for improvising to a particularly inspiring piece of music for rond du jambs en l'air. She continued both ballet and improvisation, and along the way, she discovered contemporary dance as the place she belonged. She has also studied kathak, salsa, tango, African, and contact improv. She likes flying kites and eating mangos. She has worked as a choreographer for Synergy Dance Theatre's piece in the Resolution! Dance Festival, and is currently in Los Angeles choreographing for the Los Angeles
Contemporary Dance Company and the BHHS Dance Company.
Christina Vassiliou - Dancer

Born in Bucharest, Romania Christina grew up in Athens, Greece and currently lives in London. She holds a Professional Dance Studies Diploma at the State School of Dance in Athens. She has worked with the following companies:
- YELP Dance Co: In Silence, Carbon, Carbon Copy
- Lathos Kinisi: Interrogation
- Mesomorph: Tell you, Beauty is a weapon

She also took part at the opening ceremony of the Para-olympics in Athens 2004. Aside from dancing, she studies Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths College.
Lucy Angell-John- Dancer
Lucy graduated from Middlesex University in 2006 with a BA Hons in Dance Studies, for the past two years lucy has toured nationally and internationally with Oily Cart performing Baby Ballon. Other companies Lucy has danced for include Whoopee, Studio Wambach, Bristol Dance Agency and SnapDragonDance. Lucy regularly teaches children's creative contemporary classes for various venues and is about to start teaching for Artis in primary schools.
